School Overview

We are a Catholic school established in August 2015 with 42 students.  Now, in 2024 we have an enrollment of 340 students and two sections of each grade. St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic School offers a Christ-centered education for children in kindergarten through 8th grade and is accredited by the Iowa Department of Education. Voted the favorite Ankeny/Northern Polk County school in 2024, we truly value our school community.  We are a collaborative community where all are respected, encouraged, and challenged.  We are committed to building spiritual, academic, and emotional growth for each individual. Here at St. Luke’s, we offer:

  • Special classes include: physical education, art, music, Spanish, and band

  • Limited class sizes of 20 children per class in middle school, 22 children per class in kindergarten, and 24 children per class in 1st through 5th grade.
