To Those Interested in St. Luke's School:

On December 17, 2010, Bishop Pates announced the founding of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, School and Senior Housing. Since that announcement, it has been my privilege to work with the growing number of St. Luke's parishioners to develop and pursue a master plan for our facilities.

On June 20, 2015 Archbishop Jerome Hanus, OSB, blessed our new altar, baptismal font and worship space as St. Luke the Evangelist began the use of our new Worship Space, Gym, K – 8 classrooms and offices. Tonya Eaton is our St. Luke the Evangelist school principal. She has been working hard to get everything arranged for our opening classes on August 26, 2015 for our K - 3rd grade classes. We will be adding another grade each year until all K – 8 classes are in place.

There is still room in all of  our classes for you to register your children at St. Luke's. We are delighting in setting up a Catholic atmosphere in our school. Each classroom has a patron saint that will be a focus of the prayer time in that room. Weekly 8:30 am masses will be held with the students and staff along with parishioners. Prayer will be part of every day at St. Luke's.

If you would like to tour the school, give Tonya Eaton, our principal or me a call at 515-964-1278. We will be glad to show you around and point out all the wonderful advantages our our new Catholic School.

Have a blessed summer as we anticipate the new school year.
